Mope is a survival/foraging-based game that takes place in a vivid 2D environment. You start as a mouse and your goal is to climb the food chain by eating berries in order to gain the exp. Your aim is to survive. You must move up the food chain while staying away from predators.
As you can see, animals start at the lowest point of the food chain. You earn xp each time you consume berries and can transform into other creatures. Friendly objects and players will be marked with an orange border. This highlights the objects. Risky players will be identified with an orange border. While eating berries is the most effective method to progress in the food chain, it’s important to keep your water meter full by eating the blue blobs that are formed around water points. (Bigger blueblobs). Water is consumed slowly as you move or more vigorously when you sprint.
Your character’s movement is controlled by your mouse’s movements. If they are larger than your character, certain objects can hinder or stop you from moving. When you first appear in the game, you’re unable to consume or move around with mushrooms. Sprinting is possible in the game by pressing or pressing the space bar. However, this will consume water.
