Ev.io is a futuristic Halo-esque first person shooter, is now available in the browser
The game currently supports two game modes. In deathmatch, you will play in a free-for-all with other players to get the highest number of kills. To get the most kills in deathmatch for teams, you must work with your team.
Contrary to other browser shooters, such as Venge or Krunker, ev.io’s weapon system is not featured on the map. In ev.io you pick the primary weapon that you start with: a hand gun or auto rifle, or a laser rifle. Each primary weapon is classified under a distinct type. The auto rifle is a low damage weapon that can also fire quickly. The laser rifle is a weapon with high damage and slower firing speeds.
You can also pick up weapons from the map in addition to choosing your primary weapon. There are three types of weapons that you can acquire that you can pick up: the shotgun (sniper) as well as the rocket launcher (rocket launcher) and the sniper (sniper). The pick-up guns are more powerful than your primary weapon, but they’re not as powerful. You must ensure that your shots count in order to maximize the power of these weapons.
The game features a sophisticated ability system that is focused heavily on movement and grenades.
Grenades Choose 2 of the following grenades: smoke, flash, or standard.
Movement 3 points for any 3: Teleportation leap sprint. Sprint could cost 1 point, whereas teleportation could be used for 2 points. If you’re able, if you can invest all three points into jumping and teleporting, you can do it 3 times.
Jumping is a sport that does not require endurance, however other sports like teleportation or sprinting do. However, other sports like teleportation or sprinting require stamina. The mechanics of movement used in the ev.io sport are varied.
You can compete on the leaderboard or visit the ingame store in order to purchase skins and other cosmetics (coming in the near future). You can also play games in privacy with friends by clicking the share button on the menu (hit the M key to gain access).
